Nelson County

What a fun day I had at the Nelson County GOP picnic yesterday. I had such great conversations about early education and the needs of small businesses. I also shared that I’m a NO vote on all three of the upcoming amendments.
I appreciate all the support you’ve offered me and am grateful to have spent this time with all of you. Thank you for a lovely day!

Great American State Fair

What wonderful feelings of American pride and patriotism I felt at the Great American State Fair today in Washington—especially with today’s theme of “Faith, Values and Inspiration.”
I spent time at the Virginia pavilion, where I saw some new and familiar faces, like Glenda from the Fairfax County Republican Committee office and Kimberly with the Tobacco Associates. I also stopped by the Small Business Administration area, where attendees were asked to place a pin on a map to show where our piece of the American Dream is. As a small business owner, I happily placed mine!
I hope my fellow Virginians will be able to visit the pavilions and take a ride on the Ferris Wheel before the fair ends on the 10th. It was a lovely day and a great way to celebrate our beautiful America!

Endorsement

I truly appreciate and am honored by the endorsement of Davis Lamb of the Greene County Board of Supervisors. Like him, I’m proud to stand for our first responders, fight for fiscal responsibility, and defend our Second Amendment rights.

Endorsement

I am deeply honored to have received the endorsement of the George Mason College Republicans. Your support means a great deal to me, and I am grateful for the trust you have placed in my leadership. I am committed to working tirelessly to uphold that trust and to advocate for policies and opportunities that will help secure a strong, prosperous future for Virginia. Together, we can ensure that the next generation is equipped with the tools, opportunities, and vision needed to succeed and thrive.

Amherst County

I finished Saturday at a Senate forum, organized by the Amherst County Republican Committee. There were questions about term limits (I support them!) and the national debt (I have a plan to lower it!), among other important topics. I especially enjoyed meeting members of the audience and hearing their concerns. I also am grateful for all the participants who said they have or will soon vote for me—I’m truly blessed. Thank you for your support!

Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach is where I began my day, working alongside some truly patriotic volunteers at Flags Across America.
I met a veterinarian who talked to me about issues with the grants process, as well as some other issues faced by lots of other small businesses. When elected, I will be a champion of small businesses, as they are the engine that will make life more affordable for us all.

Spotsylvania County

A big thank you to the Spotsylvania Republican Committee for inviting me to speak last night. I explained my plan for helping small businesses thrive. Most people don’t realize that 99.6% of all businesses in Virginia are small. When they do well, they expand and hire more people. Doing this increases the tax base, making life more affordable for everyone.

Staunton

On Friday, I participated in a candidate forum in Staunton, which gave me the opportunity to differentiate myself from my opponents in the Republican primary. I expressed confidence in being the right person for this point in time. America is a wealthy country, but the fraud, waste and inefficiencies plaguing our nation steal from us and our children. I’ve spent my career exposing and eliminating these things and have returned over a billion dollars to the American taxpayer. I want to take better care of our seniors, and veterans, first responders and their families, but we first need to combat the fraud and waste. I will be a partner to President Trump’s Anti-Fraud task force and write the legislation to close the loopholes of which fraudsters take advantage.

Montgomery County

I was at the Montgomery County Republican Committee luncheon today and heard concerns about the national debt and balancing budgets, something with which I have a lot of experience.
When I was the CFO of the First Responder Network Authority, with a $100 billion budget, I made sure that budget was balanced to the penny! I reviewed each line item to make sure we had strong estimates before we added them to the budget, then I made sure the money was being spent as expected each month. I never wanted any surprises. It’s that kind of attention to detail that has been the key to my success.
When I’m Senator, if a program is not using its funds properly or effectively, I’d like to put that money towards paying off the national debt. It’s just common sense.
