Fairfax County

Yesterday evening, I joined my Republican opponents at the Fairfax GOP Senate Candidate Forum. Over 150 people turned out for this great event, where both the moderator, Katie Gorka, and the attendees asked questions. Afterwards, I had the opportunity to talk to voters more personally and hear what’s on their minds.

Clifton

I finished Saturday evening celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Republican Women of Clifton. It was such a lovely evening, where I got to see familiar faces and share with people the politics of the day. It was especially great seeing Julie Perry, Bonnie Burkhart, and Mike with American Veterans Vote.

Mason District

This morning I attended the Mason District GOP breakfast, where I met national security expert Clare Lopez and many wonderful Virginians. Most of the concerns I heard were about data centers, affordability and safety. You can learn about my positions and priorities on my website.

Lake Frederick

I had a great conversation at the 3rd annual summer picnic of the Conservatives of Lake Frederick yesterday about the Democrat party’s disturbing and anti-American shift towards socialism/communism. This is yet another reason why we need a patriotic and financially savvy Republican to replace Mark Warner in the Senate. I will always be a strong voice to protect Americans from those failed economic systems.

Alexandria

A tremendous “thank you” to Paul Beran, creator of VetNet, for hosting a veterans’ celebration at his home yesterday in Alexandria. As the wife of a retired Navy captain, this event held a lot of meaning for me.
I was able to share my appreciation for those who have served our country and my ideas for helping veterans and their families. That includes helping our military better transition to civilian life, training our former military members and their adult children to fill our cyber security jobs, as well as training them in the trades. I also spoke to the attendees about my idea to offer debit cards for veterans so they can go to any provider they choose. Keeping adult military children on their parents’ insurance plan until 26, like civilian plans, is also a priority of mine.

Rappahannock and Disputanta

This past week, I had the opportunity to connect with voters at two great events—the Rappahannock Conservative Women’s Coalition and at a townhall Q & A in Disputanta. Both evenings, I was able to share my vision for Virginia and hear what’s on the minds of my fellow Virginians. I appreciate the invitation to both events, and the support many of you showed for my campaign. Together, we can retire Mark Warner and prove that Virginia’s best days are yet to come!

McLean and Kingstowne

The McLean and Kingstowne Farmers’ Markets is where I spent most of my day today, meeting with small business owners like Family of Nuts and TTU, which offers fermented foods.
While Abigale Spanberger doesn’t seem to understand this, REAL affordability comes from growing Virginia’s small businesses. When we help them thrive, they will expand, create more jobs, and increase the tax base so that taxes can be lowered, not raised, on hardworking Virginia families. 99.6% of all businesses in the commonwealth are small, so I will be doing all I can to help them succeed once elected.

Annandale

Wednesday was a busy day! I started out at the Annandale Farmers’ Market, where I met a lot of small business owners, like the gentleman with The Traveling Shepherd Coffee Company, and some truly dedicated GOP volunteers.
I finished the day in Washington, where I attended a U.S. Supreme Court Review, where a panel of former U.S. solicitors general and assistant solicitors general reviewed and discussed the latest decisions made by the U.S. Supreme Court. It was quite an intellectually stimulating evening.

Clarke County

A tremendous thank you to the Clarke County GOP for hosting tonight’s Victory in the Valley U.S. Senate candidate forum! And another big thank you to all the great patriots who came to learn more about us. I was particularly touched by the kind and very encouraging words of support that so many of you gave me before and afterwards. Your faith in me is well-placed because I am one of you. I, too, have been let down by elected officials when I’ve needed help most. You can be certain that I will never forget how that feels, and I’ll work very hard to improve the lives of all Virginians.
For 33 years, I stood up to everyone who stood in my way, and I got real results for the American people—and I’m just getting started!
